All You Need to Know About the Chosen Women’s Conference

Chosen Women’s Conference If you find yourself searching for answers or peace in this ever-changing world, perhaps you should make your way to Charleston, South Carolina this coming January. The Chosen Women’s Conference is designed for a time just like this. It’s ready to help you work through the obstacles you’re facing, leaving you relaxed and renewed. There will be four speakers in 2014, including Greg Surratt, Jen Hatmaker, Christine Caine and Mercy Lokulutu. Greg is the founding pastor of Seacoast Church, which is located in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. It has been recognized as innovative and influential, and is one of the early adopters of the multi-site model. At Seacoast, they combine a unique approach to highly participatory worship with a heart for missional evangelism. Seacoast now has 35 weekend worship experiences in 11 different locations. Next comes Jen Hatmaker. She planted Austin New Church in Texas with her husband Brandon. They have spent the last five years there pastoring together. She travels around the United States speaking at conferences, retreats and seminars, with a heart for the women of her generation. She is also the author of nine books and Bible studies. As for Christine Caine, she founded The A21 Campaign with her husband Nick. It is an anti-human trafficking organization with the ambition of abolishing slavery in the 21st century. Christine has authored five books. She has a heart for reaching the lost, but also for equipping leaders, empowering the local church and campaigning the cause of justice. Christine is the director of Equip and Empower Ministries. And last but certainly not least, Mercy Lokulutu is an ordained pastor and conference speaker. She is a Nigerian woman who came to America to pursue her God-given dreams. Mercy released her first book in the fall of 2013. So here are the details. It’s all taking place between Thursday, January 30 and Friday, January 31 at Seacoast Church’s Mount Pleasant Campus. That’s located at 750 Long Point Road. It’s $25 per person for ages 14 through 22. The regular rate for ages 23+ is $75 through January 16. Late registration will cost $90 per person if seats are still available. So you certainly want to register now! You can do so here. There will be plenty of parking on site and the conference attire is casual. Just come prepared to learn and have a great time! Seating is first come, first serve. There will be free public wifi available and DVDs and CDs will be available for purchase of the main sessions. CDs will also be available for purchase of the breakout sessions, which include “Embracing Honesty & Transparency: The Belt of Truth” and “Learning to Walk in God’s Confidence: The Shield of Faith.” Several sponsors make the Chosen Women’s Conference possible, such as South Carolina Federal Credit Union, Knight Printing and Graphics, Lifeline Children Services, Charleston Southern University, Kids Teeth, Belle Hall Eye Care, and Branch Design Studio.
