Get Hitched Without A Hitch: Tried and Tested Tips For the Perfect Nuptials

The idea of getting married is fun until you start planning for it. The engagement is really amazing and you’re still hyped about it. However, once things settle down and you start thinking of the wedding itself, anxiety starts to build up. It can be stressful. Although wedding planning is difficult, you can still do it and make sure your nuptials are without any problem with these tried and tested tips.

    1. Plan early

When it comes to your nuptials, it is best to plan way ahead of time. Set the date and have a draft of the things that you want to happen. Don’t start looking for suppliers and such without having a clear plan. If you want to make it easier on you and you have the budget for it, hire a wedding planner. If not and you have to do it on your own, plan months ahead. Create a rough guest list, get insurance, and set a budget.

    2. Always make decisions within the budget

Whatever decision you have to make, you should always stick to the budget. Whether you are looking for the grandest wedding cake or looking at historic wedding venues in Charleston, your choice should not go beyond your budget. It may be okay to let a few dollars over the budget slide but as much as possible, stick to it.

    3. Get help

You don’t have to plan your nuptials alone. You can seek help from your family and closest friends. For instance, your maid of honor can handle a few major tasks. Aside from planning your bridal party, she can be the one searching for good suppliers around Charleston. She can be in charge of some of the food if you plan to outsource it from different suppliers. She can also be in charge of picking up the cake if the supplier doesn’t do deliveries. She can also make sure that drinks are always topped up during the reception.

    4. Sort your guest list

There is nothing wrong with having a small guest list. You should just stick with your closest friends, relatives, and family members. Take note that if there are lots more people at the party then that means the party will need a bigger budget. This may be a tough decision to make, but you have to be firm about it. Keep in mind that getting married is not only about the ceremony and reception, it is actually about spending the rest of your life together. So, make sure you save some money for that part as well.
