The Dock Street Theater…A Little Charleston History

When you visit Charleston in the near future, you should definitely keep in mind the Dock Street Theatre as a must see.  They always put on a great show, and it is one of the most interesting features of downtown Charleston.  Here is a little history on the theatre from the Charleston Stage: On February 12, 1736 the Dock Street Theatre opened with a performance of The Recruiting Officer.
