Now is the time to enjoy the perfect getaway to Charleston! For a limited time only, stay with us before February 28th and get up to 35% off! Bookings must be made via the links on the right.
In 2012, Charleston was distinctly honored as the “Top City in the World” in the Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards! Charleston has become not only one of the most vibrant cities in the American South, but in the US. From culture to cuisine, Charleston has it all!
Our three-story 18th century mansion and kitchen house are located in the heart of Charleston’s historic district. You’ll find many of Charleston’s great restaurants, famous shops, and impressive art galleries in walking distance. We can handle all your arrangements for dining, tours and entertainment. Each morning enjoy a gourmet breakfast. The menu changes daily and includes specialty items like homemade quiche, eggs benedict breakfast casserole and blueberry pancakes.
In the afternoons you can enjoy a cup of Tea alongside House made savories and sweets, a southern tradition that refreshes the soul and indulges the senses. Or you can take out one of our bikes for a ride through the city. Start your evening by enjoying a glass of wine paired with a variety of freshly made Lowcountry cheese spreads.
“The Perfect Place to Stay! We stayed 2 nights at the Governor’s House Inn and LOVED it! The location was ideal for everything, close to shopping, dining and attractions. You could not ask for a better staff there, they were all very friendly and professional.”
