2012 Southern Living Taste of Charleston!

Need another reasons to visit Charleston?  The 2012 Southern Living “Taste of Charleston” main event is approaching, and it is a great reason to visit the “Holy City.”  If you are interested in taking part in this event, here is some great information from the Charleston Restaurant Association:

THE SOUTHERN LIVING TASTE OF CHARLESTON – MAIN EVENT

Join us for 2012 Southern Living Taste of Charleston!

This  year marks the 32nd anniversary of the Lowcountry’s culinary event of the year, The Southern Living Taste of Charleston, hosted by the Charleston Restaurant Association.  A 3-day event showcasing taste-tempting delights served by Charleston restaurants.

Main Event – Sunday, September 30th

Historic Boone Hall Plantation is transformed into a sea of culinary enchantment!  50 of the Lowcountry’s  favorite casual and fine dining restaurants serving sample size portions + beer and wine.  Specialty and imported beer tasting tent, live entertainment, the legendary “Waiters’ Race” and the children’s area.

Tickets are $15 in advance. Available online (click the link on the right side of this page) or at any area Southcoast Community Bank.

Tickets at the gate are $20.

Gates open at 10:30 AM

Kids under 10 are free with an adult

Rain or Shine! No coolers; No pets; No tailgating

Free parking, please carpool if possible or use our shuttle!

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the following charities:
The Ronald McDonald HouseHollings Cancer CenterHospitality Heroes, Shriners Hospitals for Children and Charleston County Schools Science Materials Resource Center
